Popular Watering Hole

We've had a very dry spring and summer here in western New York.  The water fountains and bird bath on our patio have become more popular with the birds than during our average wet summers.  All of these photos were taken today.

A juvenile Blue Jay studied the fountain for a while before it finally decided to take the plunge.  It may have been its first bath!
