Olive-sided Flycatcher
The Olive-sided Flycatcher is becoming very scarce and is only seen in western New York during a very short window of time during the spring and fall migration seasons. It nests in far northern conifer and boreal forests and spends the winter in South America.

The lungs of the planet are on fire!!!
The Veery is a neotropical migrant that winters in central and southern Brazil. I hope that this beauty that was in our yard in western New York today has a home to go back to for the coming winter.
