Yellow-breasted Chat

The Yellow-breasted Chat normally hides in thick brush and can be very difficult to see.  In the early Spring however, the males expose themselves on open perches to sing.

I was lucky enough to catch this guy singing from a branch at the Latta Plantation Nature Preserve in Huntersville, North Carolina this weekend.
