Immature Bald Eagle
This immature Bald Eagle with a green wing tag marked "B9" was photographed approximately six miles east of the City of Dunkirk, New York on Lake Erie on Friday, September 18, 2009 at approximately 1:00 p.m. It turned out to be the same eagle released in Tennessee last month according to information posted on the American Eagle Foundation's website. According to the website his name is "Sergeant" and is the offspring of a pair of non-releasable parents. Great work by the Foundation!!!
