The Lesser-black Backed Gull is a common European Gull that occasionally finds its way across the Atlantic Ocean to the eastern coastal and Great Lakes areas of the Americas. This one was photographed on a Lake Erie beach in Western New York State.

Peregrine Falcon
This queen of the bird world has the ability to fly as fast as 240 mph when she dives! This particular falcon had been injured and was in rehabilitation when I had the honor of taking her photo.
