Red-crested Cardinals are originally from Brazil but were introduced to Hawaii many years ago where a thriving population is now established.  Photo and video were taken on the island of Oahu.

Bulbuls


Red-whiskered Bulbul pictured above and Red-vented Bulbuls below.


I have found the Red-vented Bulbul to be the Hawaiian version of the Blue Jay.


Hawaiian Monk Seals


Rare and endangered Hawaiian Monk seals sleeping on the volcanic rocks at Ka'ena Point on the island of Oahu.

White Terns

The White Tern is more commonly called the Fairy Tern for obvious reasons.  They are pelagic birds that come in from the ocean to live onshore during breeding season.
